Aqueous polymeric nanodispersions are an alternative to reduce volatile organic compounds emissions in coatings and adhesive products. However, the industrial fabrication process requires an organic solvent to reduce the viscosity during IBMC prepolymer synthesis. Researches made in the VIPRISCAR project had permitted to substitute commercial organic solvents (N-methyl pyrrolidone) by 3 different green alternatives.
